I'm the current owner of the Tompkins' house at 227 Walnut Street in Peekskill. We've SLOWLY been restoring the house and have been nominated for Peekskill's Historic Preservation award this year. I'd love to learn about the Tompkins family of course, and any info available about the house. We have a great old photo to share with you and some original signs that I assume once hung on the barn!
