Tombstone Tuesday - Worthington, Samuel

Samuel Worthington
1734 - April 9, 1815



 
 Here lies the body of Samuel Worthington, who departed this life 9th day of April 1815, Aged 81 years. He is not dead but sleepth in Christ.

    Russ, I remember when we visited the church and cemetery with you and Patti,she made a tracing of the stone for me. I think that was the first time we found Montmorenci. What great memories. Charlene

      Charlene,

      Before I have all of the headstones for Saint John's, you may see yourself. I realized that I (we) have been there a number of times. 4 times where I took pictures of headstones. Some of the clearer photos were from that "reunion" trip. But, they have really cleaned up the cemetery in general.

      I am working on a story on Montmorenci. My Worthington blog has a bunch of information on there already.

      Most of the Worthington's in THIS cemetery, lived at Montmorenci.
