Results of a Find-A-Grave Presentation

Last weekend I had the honor of presenting my Find-A-Grave, A Research Tool, to the Hudson County Genealogical & Historical Society (N.J.) meeting. Here is a link to their website:

They, as a society, are involved in indexing a local, very large, cemetery. Awesome project and work.

Today, I received an email from from one of their members as a result of the presentation..
I did check some of my old postings and found that some memorials have been added. I did not recognize one of the poster's names and followed up. As it turns out it is a cousin who's family I lost track of over the years. We started comparing note and I've been able to fill in some missing blanks in my tree.
Such a thrill to have someone let me know of a break through that was a result of going back and looking at their work and making a new Cousin Connection. Hadn't thought of Find-A-Grave as Cousin Bait before, but it is. I often wonder who the person was that created a memorial for one of my ancestors. Not just someone who takes photographs of local cemeteries, but also as one who creates memorial family members where a "cousin" takes a picture of the headstone I needed.

Thanks Jim for the feedback.
